Last year there was a big landslide that closed the canyon. My ex, a very well-seasoned traveller, took a bus along Bolivia's Camino de las Yungas and it scared her to death. Her bravery goes largely unrecorded as a dodgy photo place destroyed her camera's memory card - she was gutted but there was no way she was going along that road again!
